Cabarete Day Pass

Not staying the night? Spend the day with us. Pool, beach, showers and the restaurant — a quiet base on Cabarete Beach for anyone passing through, working remotely for the day, or waiting on a late flight.

What You Get

A Day at the Lodge

🏊

Pool & Sun Terrace

Use of the outdoor pool and terrace for the day, with loungers in the shade of the palms. Quiet on most weekdays — this is a small lodge, not a beach club with a queue for a sunbed.

🏖️

Direct Beach Access

Step straight onto Cabarete Beach from the property. Perla Marina is right in front, Playa Encuentro is a ten-minute walk east, and the surf breaks at The Spot and El Canal are walkable west.

🚿

Showers & Changing

Freshwater showers and somewhere to change and leave your things — the practical part people usually need most, especially on a departure day after checkout somewhere else.

🥭

Restaurant & Bar

Our kitchen runs on organic, locally-sourced Dominican ingredients, with vegetarian and fully plant-based options at every meal. Food and drinks are charged separately from the day pass.

📶

WiFi & a Place to Work

Free WiFi across the property, and a shaded terrace that works well for a few hours of laptop time. A reasonable option if you have a late flight and a working day to get through first.

🏄

Surf & Kite on the Doorstep

Board storage and an outdoor rinse area if you bring your own gear. Rentals and lessons are arranged locally at Playa Encuentro and Kite Beach, both minutes away.

Before You Come

Day passes are arranged directly with us rather than sold through a booking platform, so message us on WhatsApp with your date and how many people are coming and we will confirm availability and the current rate. We are a small property, so on days with a wedding or a private event we may not be able to take day visitors — worth checking a day or two ahead rather than turning up.

If you are staying elsewhere in Cabarete and want somewhere quieter than the main strip for the afternoon, or you are between check-out and a night flight from Puerto Plata, this is what the day pass is for. Puerto Plata airport is 25 minutes away and we can arrange a private transfer when you leave.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer a day pass in Cabarete?

Yes. Day passes give you use of the pool, terrace, direct beach access, freshwater showers and the restaurant and bar at Cabarete Maravilla Ecolodge on Cabarete Beach. They are arranged directly by WhatsApp rather than through a booking platform, so message us with your date and group size to confirm availability and the current rate.

What is included in the day pass?

Use of the outdoor pool and sun terrace, direct access to Cabarete Beach, freshwater showers and a place to change, and free WiFi across the property. Food and drinks from the restaurant and bar are charged separately.

Can I work from the lodge for the day?

Yes. Free WiFi covers the property and the shaded terrace suits a few hours of laptop work. Cabarete runs on remote workers and kite instructors, so nobody will think it strange. For anything business-critical we suggest a local SIM with data as a backup.

Do I need to book a day pass in advance?

We recommend it. This is a small property and on days with a wedding or private event we may not be able to take day visitors, so message us a day or two ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Is the day pass good before a late flight?

That is one of its most common uses. Puerto Plata airport (POP) is about 25 minutes away, so you can check out of your accommodation, spend the day at the beach with somewhere to shower and change, and take a private transfer to the airport in the evening.
